Hamburger "Strichachttag" - Annual / 8 Meeting

THE NEXT HAMBURGER STRICHACHTTAG IS ON SEPTEMBER 9^th 2023

The HAMBURGER STRICHACHTTAG was launched in 2014 after the "Oldietanke"  (Vintage Gas Station) became the new regulars' table location in Hamburg and above all to bring all friends of the Strichachter together for another day meeting at this beautiful Brandshof classic car filling station in early autumn. We are therefore pleased that Jann and Alex from the Oldtimer Tankstelle Brandshof are always the organisers of the Hamburg Strichacht Day on the second Saturday in September.

It has become a permanent venue in the /8 annual calendar and the MB/8 Club Deutschland e.V. with its /8 round table Hamburg looks forward to seeing 80-120 vehicles every year, which are spread over the large car park there very colourfully throughout the day and ensure a colourful hustle and bustle.

Always peppered with small technical workshops or demonstrations, as well as an extensive parts market out of the boot, it is an ideal getaway destination for every Strichachter !

Unfortunately, there were "two" compulsory breaks in 2020 and 2021, which nevertheless led in both years to the fact that some vehicles found themselves 'quite by chance' at the Brandshof petrol station, because fortunately the gastronomy was still open. So continuity was at least a little bit preserved, only a completely official event was unfortunately denied to us in 2021 and 2020 due to the high requirements for the organiser. But we kept on counting a bit and were able to hold the eighth Strichachttag in 2022.

But quite apart from the already traditional Strichachttag, the beautiful Brandshof oldtimer petrol station is always worth a visit to linger, to drink tea or coffee or to enjoy a delicious meal from the menu of the day. And if you are a classic car enthusiast and have not yet visited this listed Hamburg gem, you should do so very soon!
